I’ve just happily graduated from the first semester of my artistic-lol-research, so probably it would be most appropriate to explain things a little, even though I tried to do this several times before. What can I say? It’s so much easier to discuss my ideas with “the class” of mine, where everybody sooner or later get my general way of thinking, than synthesize my sources of inspiration and disgust in one post. This explanation should have been rethought and done months ago, but who could’ve known that there’s gonna be a concrete interest in my blog. Actually, I was positively devastated (if it’s even possible) when I found out that my Polish friends went behind my back and spend their precious time on talking about my poor writings.
Ok, cool… but still why no one is commenting? What’s the point of this project, when even if someone reads it, he remains silent, or enjoys his/her critique in front of rather drunk small public. No offence guys! Honestly, I appreciate that you noticed my existence in blogosphere, and actually thanks to your remarks I exactly know what should be my first improvements. However, please next time don’t hesitate to comment and ask if something is vague or incomprehensible. I’m also waiting for your critical feedback and propositions of various sorts of material (articles, blogs, images, arty bullsh…t, books, movies, groups, forums, projects etc.) even if only lightly connected to the subject. Don’t let me down this time!
And what about those changes? - you may ask.
From now on, I’ll try to post more frequently, cause I promised at the beginning of my project, that Generational Playground is invented as my way of collecting archives with personal comments, and then I was gradually forgetting about that promise (damn…). Second of all, I’m gonna try to make my posts shorter, so this way everybody will be able to focus and read the whole text (I suppose, we all know the TLDR syndrome). I’m not saying that, counting from today I won’t post anything long, cause that would be a lie. I’m a natural Master of Padding, but I will try though to keep it clear enough, and in case of eventual “too-longness” I’m gonna cut it in half or something. No worries !
And finally, the last change… well, it’s not the actual change, but the explanation I owe you. What exactly I’m looking for? Let’s put it in one sentence, which will of course eventually gonna change, but for now I’m interested in:
Contemporary influences and their effects on behavior and decision making of “20-something people from developed and developing countries” (Generation Y, Net Generation, Millenialls, Emerging Adults, Kidults…etc.)
… and afterwards I’m gonna use my analysis, observations, and conclusions to make some kind of art production, which will regard as a method:
A question of Storytelling and it’s importance for psychical, emotional and sociological development
